To our community of friends, ticket bookers, artists and others,

Following the UK Government announcements and advice of Public Health Wales regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus, Taliesin Arts Centre will be closed to the public until further notice…..

As a theatre we are hugely committed to the idea that anyone visiting our spaces should be leaving feeling happier, healthier and inspired. This is not possible under current circumstances.

We will continue to monitor the situation regularly and updates will be provided as quickly as possible. Please continue to check our social channels and website for information.

Ticket bookers:

We have already been in touch with the majority of ticket bookers who were due to visit our theatre in the coming weeks. We will now make contact directly (email or phone) with customers due to visit us later in the season and will do so as quickly as we are able to. The impact of the virus is such that our staff are now working remotely (as are most people) and with limited resources. We ask you not to contact us about your ticket booking whilst we process this workload. We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

All ticket bookers will be offered a credit to their Taliesin account, a refund or to donate the cost of their ticket to Taliesin Arts Centre.

Visiting companies:

If we haven’t already been in touch, we will do so in the coming days. We will be keen to work with you to minimise the financial impact of this on us all.

Future events:

Our priority will be to try to reschedule events for later in the year and continue with any programmed events in the eventuality that the advice changes. We want to reopen as soon as it is deemed safe and practical to do so in order that we can continue to play our significant role in the wellbeing and creative vibrancy of our communities.

The continuing spread of the virus and the resulting measures being taken to reduce its impact are devastating blows which are being felt right across our society. We are determined to reopen soon and look forward to welcoming you back to our theatre when we do.
