Dance Days

Saturday 9th July - Sunday 10th July 11am - 5pm | Taliesin Live

Discover dance in unexpected places as Swansea becomes the stage for over fifty free dance performances in a weekend dance entertainment for all the family.

14 UK and international dance companies and over forty dancers come together for this year’s Swansea International Festival of Dance on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July.

Contemporary and traditional, aerial, circus and hip hop are all displayed in a dance extravaganza which takes place on the Swansea streets. You will find dance performances from Castle Square, along Oxford Street and popping up around the marina and National Waterfront Museum on a FREE weekend of dance which has something for everyone, young, and older.

Dance Days is part of a worldwide network of festivals of dance in urban environments- Swansea was one of the first cities in the UK, joining a network including Rio, Barcelon, Geneva, London, and Manchester. Don’t miss the event which is fast becoming the must-do on the Swansea calendar.
