The Two Dylans

Following the successful staging of 'Dylan Thomas Dylan' at the Lincoln Hay Festival, an event in the Cultural Olympics, Michael Gray and a group of celebrated authorities on the works of the two poets will, with the aid of audio visuals, illustrate and discuss these legendary icons of the twentieth century, in celebration of Bob Dylan’s 70th birthday. 


Michael Gray is a world authority on the work of Bob Dylan. He is the Author of Song & Dance Man III, The Art of Bob Dylan; The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia, and Hand Me my Travelling Shoes: In Search of Blind Willie McTell. He will be joined by David Boucher, author of Dylan and Cohen: Poets of Rock and Roll, and The Political Art of Bob Dylan, Jeff Towns, the owner of Dylan's Bookshop, Swansea and famous collector and authority on Dylan Thomas; and Daniel Williams, an authority on Dylan Thomas and the Beat Generation.
