The Welsh Wizard was a giant of 20th Century global politics, yet the nation remains divided about him. How could a Welsh-speaking chapel boy become the steely statesman who saw Britain through the Great War? How could the champion of non-conformist Christianity become a womaniser living a double life? How could this protector of the poor risk so much in the pursuit of wealth?

Writer/director D.J.Britton and BAFTA-winning actor Richard Elfyn have created an exhilarating solo performance, finding mystery, charm, poetry and much humour in Lloyd George’s extraordinary life. Set in Antibes, France, on his 50^th wedding anniversary, this speculative drama follows Lloyd George’s imagination through his imperfect past into dreams of further conquests.
