Performance Arts - Dance Days (Cert. N/A)
Discover dance in unexpected places as Swansea becomes the stage for over
50 free performances in and around the city centre. Taliesin's fifth Dance Days festival takes place in Castle Square and in and around the National Waterfront Museum. Featuring a broad range of dance from contemporary to street dance, Indian & African dance to Circus dance.
This year's festival has a focus on Wales-based artists alongside world class international acts plus much more from across the UK and homegrown talent from Swansea's community dance groups. Dance Days grew out of a worldwide network of festivals of dance in urban environments - Swansea being the first city in the UK to join a network including Rio, Barcelona and Geneva and more recently, London & Manchester. Don't miss the event which is fast-becoming the must-do on the Swansea calendar.
