Dance Days 2016
Swansea's International Dance Festival
Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 July 11am - 5pm
Dance Days is a free weekend of thrilling dance performance which takes place in Swansea city centre and around the National Waterfront Museum on Saturday 9th July, and in and around the National Waterfront Museum on Sunday 10 July. This exciting festival brings together performers from across the UK and beyond, dancing alongside Swansea community dance groups. Contemporary meets traditional as Dance Days features a wider variety of dance than ever before, giving the people of Swansea an entire weekend of dance in unexpected places.
This year, Dance Days brings a dazzling mix of dance to Swansea. From circus to street, with world class traditional dance from India and some rather unruly sheep - Dance Days has something for everyone!
If you would like to plan your day, a full programme of performances across the weekend is available to view and download here!
Swansea was one of the first UK cities to join a worldwide network of cities that dance, which includes Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona, Geneva, London and Manchester.
